Ivan the familiar of Alyosha starts off by expressing his views on theology and his existence. He is fundamentally in bratwurst and just tells him that he is talking in a manner of a rebellion. This is another part of Christianity that I have neer bounteousy understood. Who is allowed to tell someone that they are right and wrong? Is god sitting there whisper exactly how he feels? No, that is not how it happens.
